Rockhampton Village Hall Fire Plan Responsibilities

The person organising the event is responsible for ensuring that all visitors are aware of this procedure with particular attention to any person with visual, hearing or physical impairment.

In the event of a fire evacuation the person organising the event is responsible for ensuring any person with visual, hearing or physical impairment is aware of the evacuation and escorting them to the fire assembly area.

FIRE EXITS:

There are 3 external fire exits indicated with exit signs and located at

-          the main entrance

-          the side exit

-          the rear exit

ASSEMBLY AREA:

The Fire Assembly Area is the field to the left and rear of the Village Hall which provides a safe exit away from the building.

If you see a fire:

Raise the alarm and leave the building by the nearest available exit route without collecting personal belongings.

If you hear a continuous alarm:

Evacuate immediately to the assembly area via the nearest route, without collect your personal belongings.

Call the Emergency Services on 999 or 112 by mobile
